The format for the show has been
totally revamped and Thursday you will pretty much be on your own as there
are a number of events planned at the same time.
To start with registration will
begin about 3-4 PM in either the Hotel lobby at the Events registration
desk or in the Pool Area. After you have registered go to your rooms and
unpack then come down and enjoy the Trinidad Steel Drum band at the pool.
There will be Snacks available and depending on the attendance we will
look at sponsoring some soft drinks at this time. A cash bar will be
available.
Feel free to wander about and
take advantage of the Go Carts, Game room, paddle boats, pitching booth,
putt putt golf, and many more attractions on site.
At about 6PM you can start out to
the field where we will have an open BBQ cooked right there on the
grounds. The Trinidad Steel Drum Band will follow us outside at this time.
This is an open buffet and will run about an hour and a half to 2 hours
depending on attendance. There is no formal seating so either go to the
pavilion or any of the ongoing events. YOU MUST HAVE A REGISTRATION ID
BADGE AND A WRIST BAND TO GET SERVED
Since we have the entire hotel we
will have certain rooms outlined on your schedule that will run some of
the videos we normally show at the DCS. If you missed them from past shows
or want to catch them again this will give you the opportunity to see them
again,
Outside, the Bricklin group will
sponsor the Obstacle Course and depending on registered cars, will begin
between 4 and 6 and run until about 8 to 8:30. (There is no charge for
this as it is covered by your registration to either watch or participate)
At 8:30 we have decided to try
and do the group photo outside with all the cars. In the past we have had
poor attendance on the group photos due to the fact the shows have been
going on and that has kept vendors out of the photos plus DeLorean Di-Hards
that can’t get away.
With the larger group we will
spell out the word DELOREAN in the grass with people as we did the DMC in
Memphis and get and Arial shot of us.
We will also do a group photo in
a 360 panoramic shot. So the Group photo will be done on Thursday this
time.
After we are done we will set up
videos throughout the resort for you to enjoy plus you will have a DJ and
a cruise-in as we have had at all prior shows.
This is a big departure from our
normal format so we hope you enjoy it.
